From first swipe to
forever

It all started with a swipe — Lauren thought Pete looked fun and authentic, while Pete (admittedly) thought Lauren looked hot in her red dress. We met for coffee one Saturday morning at a little spot in Asbury Park, and what was supposed to be a quick meet-up turned into hours of effortless conversation.

We discovered we had so much in common: our love for skiing, growing up spending summers at the Jersey Shore, and our passion for our careers. Time flew by so fast that Lauren completely forgot to feed the parking meter and got a ticket! But we both knew immediately — this felt different. We wanted to see each other again.

Once Pete learned Lauren could ski, he took every opportunity to hit the mountains together. One Saint Patrick's Day, feeling sad that ski season was over, we had the brilliant idea to book an impromptu trip to Salt Lake City — departing within the week. That spontaneous adventure perfectly captured who we are: always down for a ski trip, a party, or whatever comes next.

We share the same passions and values, but our temperaments are perfectly opposite. Lauren brings the fire and excitement to life, while Pete brings the chill and relaxation. We're perfectly balanced.

After about a year, we knew we were right for each other. Our relationship has continued to grow as effortlessly as that first conversation in Asbury. So when we moved into our new apartment — just two blocks from that original coffee shop — Pete knew it was time to pop the question.

Now we're incredibly excited to take our next step surrounded by our family and closest friends — the people who shaped us into the fine folks we are today. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
